She was born in Matosinhos, Portugal. She graduated in Drama Studies & Acting from the High School of Music and Theatre Arts. In 2001 she began working as an actress and trainer. She began with Physical Theatre and then complemented with Repertoire Theatre and contemporary plays. She also taught the subjects of Acting and Voice at informal and professional groups, and directed plays. Recently, she became a creator, focusing on making culture and theatre accessible to everyone, promoting the work of contemporary playwrights and rethinking the theatre spaces.
